From May 28-30, 2024, in Seoul, South Korea, Representatives from the Multimedia Technology and Animation (MTA) program and the Digital and Communication Engineering (DCE) program, under the School of Information Technology (IT) at Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), along with Chung-Ang University (CAU) in South Korea, held a meeting to sign a cooperation agreement. The agreement focuses on the development of education, curricula, research, and student skill enhancement activities between the two institutions.
In this meeting, Dr. Khemachart Khemavuthanon, Assistant Dean of the IT School and lecturer of the DCE program, Dr. Yuttapong Thongpaeng, Chair of the MTA program, and Dr. Pruet Phutachorn, lecturer of the MTA program, were welcomed and met with Dr. Lee Chan Kyu, Vice President of CAU, Professor Wi Jong Hyun, Dean of The Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Immersive Media/Animation Contents, Professor Kim Kyu-Hyun, Professor Jin Young-Ki, Professor Lee Ho Jin, and faculty members from COSS Immersive Media and Virtual Convergence College.
Besides reaching an academic cooperation agreement, After the meeting, CAU assigned Ms. Ruby Kim, Vice President of the student group GLAM (Global Ambassador), to guide the MFU delegation on a campus tour and coordinate future cultural exchange activities.
This successful cooperation meeting aims to enhance curricula and research in Immersive Digital Technology and develop MFU students to meet international standards, preparing them to become sustainable global citizens in the future.
