On Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Dr.Kemachart Kemavuthanon, Assistant Dean/Lecturer from The School of Information Technology, Mae Fah Luang University received a plaque of honor for being an

"Outstanding Individual in Supporting Government Initiatives in Waste Manangement and Improving Community Quality of life"

This award was presented by Mr.Chaiyont Srisamut, Mayor of Mae Sai Municipality, Chiang Rai Province. In recognition of Dr.Kemachart Kemavuthanon's collaborative research projects with Mae Sai Municipality involved the development of 3 systems which are:

• The Data Supporting System for the Management of Toxic Waste from Communities in Chiang Rai Province (D-ToC)
• The Management Information System to Support Municiple Solid Waste Management of Local Government 4.0 (D-MaK)
• The Municiple Solid  Waste Tracking and Management System (D-Tracking)

These systems collectively contribute to the systematic management of community wast and the continuous development of innovative solutions.
