On February 13, 2025, the School of Applied Digital Technology at Mae Fah Luang University, in collaboration with Interlink Communication Public Company Limited, organized a structured cabling skills training and competition for high school students in Chiang Rai. The event featured expert trainers from Interlink Communication, a leading distributor and importer of structured cabling systems, IT and communication technology equipment, as well as a provider of professional network design and installation services.
The event welcomed 22 students from Mae Chadi Wittayakhom School in Wiang Pa Pao District, Chiang Rai, who participated in both the training sessions and the competition. The training provided students with cutting-edge knowledge and in-demand skills in network technology, covering both theoretical concepts and hands-on practical applications. The opening ceremony was honored by Asst. Prof. Nacha Chondamrongkul, Acting Dean of the School of Applied Digital Technology, delivered the opening speech. The competition awards were presented by Dr. Kemachart Kemavuthanon, Acting Assistant Dean, while Dr. Titiya Chomngern, a faculty member from the Digital and Communication Engineering program, served as the principal coordinator of the event.
The event was a resounding success, receiving enthusiastic participation from students. Attendees not only gained valuable knowledge in network technology but also received certificates, prizes, and an enjoyable learning experience. Furthermore, the competition provided a unique opportunity for high school students to explore the field of networking and gain insight into structured cabling systems, inspiring them to pursue careers in the LAN networking industry and further education in related fields.
