The School of Applied Digital Technology organizes an intensive workshop for staff and graduate students to enhance high-level textbook and research paper writing skills

On March 9, 2026, the School of Applied Digital Technology, Mae Fah Luang University, moved forward with elevating research under the university's strategic plan by organizing the "2nd Academic Potential Development Workshop (Internal Speakers)."

Topic: Becoming an Associate Professor!

Primary Objectives of the Project:

  • To enhance understanding of techniques for writing textbooks and academic books for faculty members.

  • To develop the potential of graduate students and advisors in conducting modern research.

  • To increase achievements in publishing research papers in international academic journals (Scopus).

Activities Included:

  • Lecture: "Guidelines and Procedures for Applying for Associate Professorship and High-Quality Textbook Writing" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nacha Choldumrongkul and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rungsun Chaisricharoen.

  • Lecture: "Guidelines for Writing High-Quality Research and Academic Articles at the Associate Professor Level" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Punrumol Temdee and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natthapol Ounsri.

  • Session: "University Support Resources" by staff from the Mae Fah Luang University Learning Innovation Institute (MLii).

  • Workshop Session: Knowledge exchange and hands-on activities between speakers and participants.

The project aims for at least 60% of participants to develop a conceptual framework for preparing book or textbook outlines and gain a clear understanding of the publication support process, further driving the School toward academic excellence.
